According to Prof. Deborah Landis, the primary function of costume and props is storytelling/. With regards to my production this means; for my print production careful planning of costumes and props is important because -
- It will help to me to set the scene of the magazine, and also extinguish the genre of the magazine is quickly and simply as possible.
- It will also enable me to come up with an effective colour scheme to theme the rest of my magazine components from. This will mean it will be consistent with all of the other aspects in my production.
